About the Item

This art - work is part of the project REFLEXUS. The paint is made in the author's technique of painting by Vasili Zianko based acrylic painting on canvas using a variety of textures, washes, the finest glazing, volumetric contours. The art-work is readable for blind and visually impaired people by touch. Project «REFLEXUS» includes 17 paintings (all – 100х110, canvas, acryl) and an installation, which consists of 12 mirrors (all 50х30), placed on the walls in three rows in the same distance from each other. In the gaps between the upper and the central rows of mirrors there is a volumetric sign «Objects in mirror are closer than appear». In one and a half meters from the wall with the mirrors, there are two paintings on one mount, one of which is turned with its front face to the viewer, and the other to the mirrors.
